update SAP Real Estate Management for IFRS 16 with EA-APPL, SP 9

Hello,

we use SAP RE-FX with EA-APPL 606, SP 9.

For the use of Note 2255555 to add the functionalities for IFRS 16, EA-APPL, SP 17 is required. note 2255555

Is there a solution for IFRS 16 in SAP RE-FX with EA-APPL 606, SP 9?

Or is the release update from EA-APPL 606, SP 9 to EA-APPL 606, SP 17 absolutely necessary before before the application of IFRS 16 in SAP RE-FX?
