Update/migrate existing users role assignment to Business roles in GRC in new BR implementation

Hi Experts,

We are implementing Business roles concept in GRC and wanted to know how to migrate the existing roles of the existing users from SAP to GRC.

For Example:

User 1 is currently assigned to Role 1

Now as of GRC Business role implementation we created Business Role1 and added Role 1 to it. Wanted to Migrate all Existing users assignment in to GRC. so GRC system should recognize that the User 1 has Business Role1.

Please advise.

Hi Sri,

As far I know there is no option for pull(what you are looking for) and tie it to an existing BR,we have only push BR to Plugin systems.

Hi Sri,

What you use for provisioning ARM or IDM?If its ARM try to submit a GRC request for the new business role and remove the old technical role which is not part of the new BR(look for validity dates.

we want to use ARM for provisioning. we do not want to submit requests for already existing users. Anyway we are planning to submit "multiuser" requests. I am closing this thread.
