Unable to do SMT Mapping for the fields present in MARC_APS_EXT Table.

‘Target Stock Level’ and ‘Safety Stock Level’ fields are not present in SAP MDG UI but they are present in S4 GUI System under Advanced Planning section and for this Transparent table is MARC_ASPS_EXT in place of MARC.

We are doing development to bring these fields in MDG UI but we are unable to find these fields in MARC Table. Due to this we are not able to do SMT Mapping. During SMT Mapping of MDG_BS_MAT_MAP_2PP and  MDG_BS_MAT_MAP_2STA we are unable to see the fields in MARC Structure.

We’ve found a Transparent table : MARC_APS_EXT in which these fields are present but during SMT Mapping we are not able to view the structure of MARC_APS_EXT Table.

Hi mines, what did you end up deciding on this in the end? We're facing exactly the same challenge. For some reason none of the Advanced Planning Fields from MARC_APS_EXT are not available in standard MDG Data Model or UI but we need to maintain them via MDG. Custom Entity or you found an alternative solution?

Basically we created a custom entity and call this 2 field inside it.

Thank you for sharing this! Last question - have you spoken to SAP regarding these MARC_APS_EXT fields and why they were omitted from MDG and whether they are planning to add them?

This looks to be a design issue. Ideally it would be created as a separate entity and not viewed as extension of MARC as these are two different tables.
