Unable to delete Dimension members and Save Process Dimension in BPC standard Web Admin 11.1

Hi,

We are on S4 HANA 1809 SP2 with BPC 11.1 standard.

We are trying to delete dimension member in a dimension. System is not processing the dimension. It throws a general error as Error in Admin Module or a component used by Admin Module.

We applied the BASIS trace to check if any authorization issue exists but we did not find any.

Below are the sequence of snapshots:

1. We are trying to delete the dimension member 0001_ in Profit Center Dimension which is a user defined dimension.

2. When we try to Save and Process the Dimension, the below error comes:

3. Error detail is as below in BPC Web Admin:

4. The BASIS trace shows nothing as below for this above activity:

Is there any configuration that we are missing or is this some system bug?

Strange this is that this delete issue is happening for some dimension members like User defined Cost Center, Profit Center, Also GL Account, Data src. But for some dimensions the deletion and further processing of dimension works.

Kindly suggest!

Regards,
SHUBHAM

No Luck.

We implemented the note. Issue remains.

Also no ST22 dump for us.

Try to perform extra tests!

Are you able to process dimension after changing some member description?

In general it depends on the transactional data that may be stored for the mentioned members.

Hi Vadim,

It is confirmed, there is no Transaction data against the above mentioned dimension member.

In fact, we added one dimension member, processed it, and then went on to delete it. But we are facing the same error.

We tried running the program UJA_DIM_REFRESH_CACHE to refresh the dimension cache but without any luck.
