Hi Team,
Using version S4H 2021 and CC 2020.
Consumption Item class (Ex: Z200) is configured and it has been generated successfully in Convergent Invoicing as well.
We able to see the same CIC(Ex: Z200) in CC but unable to do the "Consumption Item Mapping" via core tool due to the below error.
I have enable the Debug in CC and captured the logs from dispatcher and updater. I could see the CIC Z200 in the logs but unable to find out the reason why object is missing.
Thanks,
Rahul.

Hi Rahul,
Regenerate the interface for CIT Class Z200 in CI. That should resolve the error in CC.

Hello Karim,
When I generated the CIT class initially it did not resolve the error. Hence I purposely took the restart of the CC instances (Dispatcher & Updater). Then after I have re-generated the CIT class and issue got resolved.
CC as in a Product will not give proper error messages. It is one of the biggest challenge to find the RCA.
Verbose doesn't work in this case. Even if you enable traces will not give proper relevant messages in the logs.
Thanks,
Rahul.

Hi Rahul
Consumption item classes are basically chargeable item classes with additional data fields for control purposes. You need to create your CIT class Z200 in S4 Convergent invoicing to get replicated into convergent charging.... here is the path FICAIMG--> Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable--convergent invoicing--consumption item classes--maintain consumption item classes-- make the class as Released status.
Thanks

Hello,
Did regenerating the CIT Class fixed the problem? we're having the same error, and regenerating the CIT Class / creating a new CIT Class from scratch gives the same problem. (verbose shows nothing)
Any advise is much appreciated.
Thanks
