Hi Folks,
Greetings!!
We have recently upgraded patch level of BPC 10 NW from SP12 to SP20. There are many issues and majority of them got resolved by self and with SAP intervention but one peculiar issue still exists in the system. Work status is behaving different now as compared to previous patch.
We have three work-status maintained in our project which are listed below.
1. Unlocked - Owner
2. Submitted - Manager
3. Locked - Manager
Two issues of work-status exists in the system:
We patched Quality first before getting into production and setting are same as in Production and there is no scope of changes from BPC front end (admin) side as production is working as expected. I would like to know can we do something from BW end.
I hope experts here can help me out to get a resolution at the earliest.
Thanks in advance. Please revert for any further information.
Thanks and Regards,
Mahesh Reddy

Hi Saida Reddy,
We have successfully installed above mentioned version in DEV and it is working fine now.
I think nothing to do with .Net version.
My attachments (Workstatus1 and Workstatus2) above clearly states that this is some sort of authorization issue. Security is completely sync with Dev and Prod. If Dev is working fine after patching then ideally Quality should work.
My question is "Is there any locks in work status tables which will cause this type of issue or any changes to be done in security.
Please advise.
Thanks
Mahesh
Hi All,
Thanks for your valuable inputs. Issue got resolved now as we transported UJW_STATCODE table to TEST from DEV and we are able to change the work status.
Thanks
Mahesh

Hello,
Have confirmed if you can change work status in BPC web client->library->Input Form? The user has to be the manager to change the work status. The error message says that the user who is trying to change the status is not authorized to do so.
Please confirm if the user can do that from the BPC web client,
Best Regards,
Leila Lappin

Hi,
According to SAP KBA http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1366676 the last patch for BPC 10.0 NW is SP18 (CPMBPC800), even SP19 is not released
What concrete component have you updated?
Tnx & BR
