Unable to change key figure type on model XXX

Hi Experts,

I am looking for a way to change Key Figure Length from normal to large. It keeps rejecting my request with an error message, Unable to change key figure type on model XXX. I have tried to change it on copied application and by creating new one. But both, it says same message.

We have several models in the environment, and would like to change one of them from normal to large. Is there way to make this happen? Or let me know why it keeps happening even there is a selection to go normal to large. Any global setting on it?

Hi Andy,

Have looked both of them, reg. 1st, I have tried with copied application, and it keeps saying 'Unable to change key figure type on model XXX'. One thing different from the note, I have tried to change length of key figure from normal to large.

And the 2nd note, it says version, we are on 10.1 which is later version than version in the note.

Hi YH,

IF you are on 10.1 then there is a tick box in the web admin where you tick the box to enable large key figures.

Have you tried to tick that box for your required model?

Yeap, Andy.

I have tried it, and it gave me the error message. And then I have tried change the flag in UJA_APPL, and then process the application, then the error happens. That is why I wonder there is a kind of global setting for this.

I have also checked there is LARGESIGNEDDATA key figure having 31, 7 in RSA1. Of course, the model I am working has SIGNDATA which represent NORMAL.

- I have selected and processed with the large key figure length in BPC Web admin

- We are on 10.1 on HANA

I see you didn't mention the parameters in SPRO for BPC.
Can you please check if the related parameters is enabled based on the following notes?
1829297 - Large Key Figure support for Planning and Consolidation 10.0 (it applies to 10.1)
2199620 - Cannot enable Large Key Figure in stabilized Model on HDB
