UKM_BP error R1 206 when BP Role is not the standard UKM000

Hi,

S/4HANA 2020 FPS01, with FSCM Credit Management. BP Role UKM000 is not used; instead a Z BP role was created and is in use. This Z BP Role is assigned to BP Role Category UKM000 and is the Standard assignment of the BP Role to the BP Role Category.

BP Role UKM000 is hidden on purpose, so that Master Data users do not create BPs with role UKM000 which is not used. Everything works fine, except that UKM_BP transaction triggers error R1 206 - "BP role UKM000 does not exist".

How can we use transaction UKM_BP with a non-standard BP Role for credit management?

Hello,
I am an expert in the Business Partner area but not UKM. I think, the UKM application has a check on the role UKM000 rather than the role category UKM000. I suggest you to raise an incident to UKM application at SAP to have a further check.
