Hi Bpc Friends

I have restored a back up of an environment.

The process chain running some Data Package haven't been restored.

What I have to do to have the process chain?

Thanks

Michele

Process chain is not related to the environment and is not restored by ujbr. Create it manually or use transport...

I understand that the restore doesn't create the process chain for the BPC Package and so on but my question is:

in order to restore a back up with the same name I had to delete the environment, why deleting an environment deleted the process chain?

Did I wrong something?

Thanks

Michele

"why deleting an environment deleted the process chain?" - deleting environment will never delete the process chain!

I don't know but we hat to create the process chain again

We deleted the environment from BPC Admin and by the transaction SE38 - UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT - Clean the environment

Hi,

BPC standard process chains are not related to any specific BPC environment.  They are activated when you activate ENVIRONMENTSHELL.  We have seen some processes make the process chains inactive and then they are not visible from RSPC.  You can fix that by executing UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT and activate them again.

Leila
