Hi Syed.

Managers come from GRACUSER table, that is filled via your repository sync jobs, respecting your data sources config.

I suppose you have an LDAP system set as a data source from which you are collecting user details (including manager) for your internals. Where from are you retrieving these details for externals?

Marcelo

Hi Marcelo,

Thanks for your reply. Yes we are taking manager information from LDAP and we are manually giving the Manager for external users while raising the request since it is not extracting for them even though manager is maintained for both Internal and External in LDAP.

Thanks

Hi Syed.

If you have an LDAP directory with consistent data configured as a data source in your GRC, managers should be correctly collected and stored for users in GRACUSER table when you run the repository sync.

Please take a look at SAP note 1584110 - Controles de acesso GRC - Como configurar conectores LDAP and confirm if your field mapping is correctly configured for the LDAP connector.

After checking this and running the repository sync against this connector, check if your user records in GRACUSER for these external users are linked to the LDAP connector and with the MANAGER field correctly filled.
