Transfer material export control classifications to ERP

Hello,

Has any one worked on transferring export material classifications (ITAR & EAR) that are assign in GTS to ERP material master? Please suggest ideas/custom program that anyone may have written.

(I understand I need to define legal regulation in ERP)

Can you make use of the standard re-transfer commodity code report to achieve this.

Hi Shankarnarayan,

That program can't be used as it updates only HTS code (table T604).

It must be customized or a new one written.

I'm just curious: given that you have GTS, why would you want to transfer the classification data into ERP?

Good question - it's mostly due to political reasons 

It is for users in ERP to see military relevance (EAR & ITAR) of materials (by viewing the classifications), all the functionality regarding licenses will reside in GTS.
