Dear Experts,

In the Integration suite, we have deployed the Transfer Bills to SAP S4HANA artifact from the SAP Subscription Billing Integration with SAP S/4HANA - Subscription Management with Sales Billing package.

After following all the configurations steps on Cloud Connector, S4HANA on-prem system and Subscription Billing System under: https://help.sap.com/docs/CLOUD_TO_CASH_OD/a78a4be305be4dbc903bd826a1aba456/717f0bbfe71f474e96668aa0...

Error Detailsorg.apache.cxf.interceptor.Fault: Could not send Message., cause: org.apache.cxf.transport.http.HTTPException:

HTTP response '503: Service Unavailable. Timed out waiting for tunnel to open for tunnelId account:///33db18e4-aaab-4be7-b113-0ce805640556' when communicating with http://saphanasbx01:8000/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/flv_10002A111AD1/bndg_url/sap/bc/srt/scs/sap/subscriptionbd...

Any hint on what I could check?

Many thanks,

Doris

Hi dkarapici ,

There appears to be a problem with the cloud connector configuration and the connectivity. Did you perform the Cloud Connector connectivity test in SAP Cloud Integration using Connectivity test option? If so, please provide the status of it.

Kind regards, Vijay

Hi Vijay,

Can you please advice me on how to check the connectivity?

The exposed On-Prem S4HANA system is reachable as below:

The same also for the Destinations

Kindly advise me on how to test the connectivity on the Integration Suite.

Thank you,

Doris

Hi dkarapici ,

We can test the connection of various sources in the Integration Suite -> Monitor Artifacts -> Integrations -> Manage Security -> Connectivity Tests tab. We can also test the connectivity of Cloud Connector here. Please test the cloud connector connectivity using this option.

Also, make sure you're using the Virtual host URL and Port in the adapter's address in the IFlow.

Kind regards, Vijay

Hi tvijay,

As you suggested, I tested the connectivity to the Cloud Connector with an empty Location ID and IC could not connect to it.

I haven't used any Location ID on the Cloud Connector, so basically it is empty. Could that be a problem?

I am checking that here in the documentation it is mentioned that this Location ID is optional.
https://help.sap.com/docs/connectivity/sap-btp-connectivity-cf/cloud-connector-initial-configuration

We are running on "SAP Cloud Connector 2.15.1" version.

Thank you,

Doris

Hi dkarapici ,

You are right, Location ID is optional and it won't be an issue. Kindly check the status of the Cloud Connector in the BTP. Just FYI, Both Cloud Integration and Cloud Connector should be in the same sub account.

Kind Regards, Vijay

Hi Vijay Sankar,

We managed to solve the issue with the network team. There was a firewall blocking the requests to BTP. Now the Cloud connector is reachable

Thanks a lot,

Doris
