Trader identification number

Hello experts,

Recently, we updated our GTS system and it is now mandatory to maintain trader identification number for FTO. Upon maintaining, it is being copied into import customs declaration (USA), into field "Customs Registration Number". We do not want this to happen, any ideas, please? The field has been renamed to Entry number (in the config) hence you see the field description as "Entry Number" not as "Customs Registration Number".

Hi Satish,

I cannot find Message Type 'M4020' in the standard system. The Action Definition (in your screen-shot) suggests that it was created in the Implementation Project.

I suggest you get a developer to "debug" the code, to find out where that field value is coming from.

Hi Dave,

GTS 10.1. We are using 3 messages but only 1 actively being used i.e. M4020.

I do have a BAdI implemented for defaulting data before the creation of customs dec but I didn't find anything that would cause this.

Which GTS version? Which Activity Sequence? Which Message is determined?

To be honest, it seems probable that what you're seeing is caused by some errant BAdI code or Data Proposal, but let's see...
