Dear All

There is report with Macro in our model. By mistake we clicked on save data.

But we havenot inputted any values, but still system said X no. of records going to be posted.

We are not sure, whether the loaded values by someother user or by our mistake.

We tried to delete, but realised we cannot erase in BI. However we tried to post 0s for the same combination using anotehr template.

but want to be sure that these data are posted today by us

1. Is there  any way to check by which date or which user this data got posted?

if its by our user name or today's  date, we can go ahead and delete data.

also, by request Id in display data, can we know which user ran? its an input schedule, so save data posted this data, and hence we cannot see package name or user name in backend.

Please help.

Hi Vijay,

If you have activated Data Audit , then you can  check audit information on who changed

changed transactional data in the model. Since a data audit can only be captured for a

model, this report is only applicable at the model-level. The report shows who

changed the data, what time they made the change, how they made the change (for

example, through logic execution or the EPM add-in for Microsoft Office), and the

details of the record that was changed.

Option Description

Model Select a model,

Dimension

Members

Select the dimension and dimension members the audit information

is stored against.

Date and

Time

(You can choose start and end dates for the report or display the full

history of the selected data audit information (Anytime).))

Select from the following options:

• Data Modified by Task

– The EPM add-in for Microsoft Office

• User

• IP Address

– Machine Name

– IP Address

– Dimensions relevant to the model

– User

• Show Rows by:

– ID (Member ID)

– Description (Member description)

Hope it helps.

hi Deepak

thanks for the reply.

we found its our trigger .

Is it good to post 0s to same combination using input template

or any other option

just heard that deleting the request Id also would  do

Please advise.
