Time dependent Hierarchy activation

SAP BPC 10 NW

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to implement the Time dependent Hierarchy for the User-defined dimension. But I couldn't find it in the Structure of the dimension. screenshot attached. do I have to activate or enable the functionality anywhere? Please assist.

What is you BPC and BW version and SP?

Then check in SPRO: ENABLE_TIME_DEENDENT_HIER’ is ‘X’,

Hi,

As suggested by Vadim and mentioned in SAP Guide, Insert ENABLE_TIME_DEPENDENT_HIER  ‘X’ in Global Parameter and run UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT from transaction code SE38.

Post this, you can activate TIME DEPENDANT HIERARCHY for required dimension.

Hi Vadim,

I have checked the ENABLE_TIME_DEENDENT_HIER

activated UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT

but still unable to find the option Time dependent hierarchy in structure of the dimension.

it worked with change in spelling, but the user Guide has a typo with ENABLE_TIME_DEENDENT_HIER

Hi,

To make time dependent object you need to some configuration after that it will be available.
