Taxation for subscriber account is updated as none

Hello Experts,

I am facing an issue for BP replication into CC after updating the address.

When the original BP was created with India address, we do not know what the taxation status was updated in CC but it was replicated to CC and contracts were distributing successfully but after changing the address(within the same city, but a different address), the contracts are not getting distributed to CC and the monitor distribution issue is showing as " Taxation of the subscriber account cannot be changed". when we check the subscriber account in CC, it is showing as "None".

Please help me how to update the Taxation of the subscriber account to "VAT" from "None" and how to distribute the contracts successfully to CC.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards

Anil

Hi Anil,

I'm not completely sure that I've understood your situation, but the main issue seems that your process is trying to change the taxation module assigned to a subscriber account in Convergent Charging.
By design, Convergent Charging will not accept that kind of modification.

We've already received similar questions in the past, and our recommendation is always to recreate the whole subscriber account from scratch, with the right taxation settings.
If it helps, you may export the whole account using the "customerDataExport" web service (it exports the account along with all its contracts, subscriber range/mapping tables, counters and allowances, into an XML document).
Then, you can delete the obsolete data, and reuse the XML result of the web service to recreate everything.

Can you please confirm if this is what you need, or if I've misinterpreted your requirement?

Best regards.
