Stock materials in a subscription order?

I have this scenario where a bundle contains one stock based item (we are selling a subscription, but the hardware needs to be shipped to the customer).

I’m trying to find the configuration that allows me use integration with SAP SD but I’m starting to question it it actually exists in the standard .

I could probably develop a document distribution to do it; but isn’t this standard?

Hi Joao,

Sales item is very much supported in a subscription order. In your example, you can have a bundle subscription product having a sales component as sub item. When you submit the order, subscription contract will get created for subscription products and SD sales order will get created for sales product.

Creation of SD sales order from subscription order happens via Data Exchange customizing under Service -> Transactions -> Data Exchange in SAP S/4HANA for Service -> Define Custom Handler Classes for Forward Data Exchange. You would need to map a class (CL_CRMS4_SOM_SALESDOC_FWD has been provided as example which can be used) to transaction category BUS2000265.
