Hello,
I Would like to know if there is any available standard kpis in sap to use, because the customer doesn't know anything about ssm or kpi.
Thanks.
Request clarification before answering.
SAP does not provide any standard KPI's they all have to be built by whoever is installing/developing the system.
A hint I would strongly recommend devising an alpha/numerical reference number system for your user to help identify each KPI.
If you have a large number of KPI's this is particularly important as in the front end when setting KPI's, setting entry and approval defaults and creating associated reports. SAP SSM tends to operate in shuffle mode and displays the KPI's in a completely random format. Having a reference number does help to speed up this process. There are Idea place suggestions in for SAP to order the list or provide a search/find facility but these as yet have not been taken up.

Thanks Mike for your answer
one more thing
our client want to automate the process so we need to extract data from BW to SSM
can u please give me more details about the structure of the BW cube ?
I mean do I create for every KPI a measure( info object) in the infocube or i create KPI as master data of 0Measure in the bw ?
I have more knowledge on the front end of SSM rather than the system architecture. So apologies cannot answer this particular question.
As a user our experience of the automatic data loads from source systems has proved problematic and we found it was heavily IT specialist reliant in both the initial creation and in on-going maintenance.
Hi Awad,
All the KPIs data in the Scorecards can be loaded into the SSM from BW and also for some KPI's actual data can be loaded BW and Target data from Entry& Approval. For this you need to create a LinkID for the BW system first and test the connection.
You can pull the data from the BW InfoCube and also from query. So I suggest you to go with the query. You need to build a query with all the KPIs which you want in the scorecard and import it into the SSM through BICA.
Hope this is helpful.
Thanking you,
Regards
