SSO for EPM Add-in using X.509 Certificate authentication

Hello experts,

We are trying to implement SSO for EPM Add-in using X.509 certificate authentication method and I would like to know if it supported and has anyone implemented it?

I was able to find notes which mention that BPC 10.1 supports kerberos authentication and I have read discussions that mention EPM Add-in SSO can function if Kerberos authentication is enabled for SAP GUI. However, I would like to confirm the same about X.509.

I have the related documentation to configure X.509 for GUI but before proceeding, the question is:

Will X.509 work for EPM Add-in if it is enabled for SAP GUI?

We are on BPC 10.1 for NW , CPMBPC SP08 release 810 & EPM SP34 Patch 02.
