Hi.

We must make decision according to SSM.

I have some problem to find roadmap of SSM.

.Anybody can help me to get SSM roadmap ?

Hi Manoj,

Yes, you can automate/schedule data loads to SSM through BW using BICA Connector. If you are planning move to S/4HANA, you need to migrate the existing BW systems to BW/4HANA as well and built the whole SSM again in customized in transactional S/4HANA embedded analytics/Fiori Apps, is going to be considerably huge effort. We have no choice as the SSM Product is already phased out by SAP.

Currently we are designing the complete customized Strategy management using the BW/4HANA & S/4HANA systems. Soon I am planning to come up with series of blogs in this regard. ( The Customized Strategy management solution -using S/4HANA ( Embedded analytics /Fiori) & BW/4HANA).

Hi,

SAP stopped and decoupled the SSM Product. This is going to be a part of SAP S4HANA Embedded analytics Fiori apps with customized models.

Hi Reddy,

We have SAP SSM product Implemented Standalone means It is Implemented before We Implement SAP .

Now Since it was Standalone Implementation , Source for SSM is Manual Upload of DATA.

So NOW Business Wants to Automate / schedule Data load to SSM Means Planning to integrate SAP BW to SSM using BICA connector.

We have plan to move to S4HANA but it will be in 2024.

MY Question :

1.Is it Worth to set up Automate / schedule Data load to SSM (Means to integrate SAP BW to SSM using BICA connector) now considering anyway we have to move to S4HANA by 2024/2025???
