Reading through the 10.1 install guide:

On your application server, install ADOMD.NET. The Business Planning and Consolidation zip file contains the ADOMD.NET installation package in the following locations:

For SQL Server 2008 - \BPC Setup\Server\SQLSERVER2008_ASADOMD10_x64.msi

For SQL Server 2012 - \BPC Setup\Server\SQLSERVER2012_ASADOMD11_x64.msi

For SQL Server 2014 - \BPC Setup\Server\SQL_AS_ADOMD.msi

I've also downloaded the 10.1 install files(51049000.zip).

I'm attempting to run through a SQL 2014 install, however the SQL_AS_ADOMD.msi file DOES NOT EXISIT in \BPC Setup\Server\.

Anyone dealt with this issue?

I grabbed it from here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=42295

SAP you may want to update your 10.1 install files(51049000.zip).

So I attempted the install on SQL Server 2014 and got a few errors:

(complaining about the SQL version)

I was under the impression SQL 2014 was supported for BPC 10.1.
Does anyone know the status of the 2014 supported release?

Product Availability Matrix is showing SQL 2014 as supported (see attachment)

SQL Server 2014 is supported.

If the file is missing from the installation package I would suggest to open an incident with SAP support.

In any case - the ADO MD for SQL 2014 can be installed directly from Microsoft

Download Microsoft® SQL Server® 2014 Feature Pack from Official Microsoft Download Center

Hi Jon

SQL 2014 is supported.

I have successfully installed BPC 10.1 SP4 MS on a multi server installation without getting any of the errors you received.

SQL_AS_ADOMD was also part of the installation file that I downloaded

The file I downloaded was called BPC110M04 0-80000134.ZIP

There are three patch files after this release which I have installed as well

Thanks for the reply Aadil.

Could you please tell me where you found that download?

Here's what I'm doing:

Home | SAP Support Portal >  Download Software > Installations and Upgrades - B" SAP BPC FOR MICROSO... > 51049000 - SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.1, for Microsoft

It sounds like you're got your install file somewhere else?

UPDATE:

Found it here:

Home | SAP Support Portal >  Download Software > Support Packages and Patches - B" SAP BPC FOR MICROSOFT" SAP PC 10.1 FOR MICROSOFT > BPC 10.1 for Microsoft, Server package 04

Looks like the "Install" file is incorrect, and the one we want is the "Support Package".

Hi Jon

After you get to Download Software, instead of selecting Installations and Upgrades, Select > Support Packages & Patches > Alphabetical List of Products > B > SAP BPC FOR MICROSOFT > SAP PC 10.1 FOR MICROSOFT > SAP CPM BPC 10.1 M

The file should be there, or well that's where I found the Files.
