Hello
Can anybody tell me why the quantity field for items of type "Subscr. Billing Item" are readonly?
Best Regards

Hello,
the quantity in the solution order is read-only, because each subscription line item is finally generating one subscription in SAP Subscription Billing.
To model pricing based on quantities, Subscription Billing offers the concept of "subscription parameters". By configuring the rate elements within a subscription product, you can define multiple parameters/quantities that will be priced. These parameters will also show up in the solution order in the subscription item details and are transferred into the subscription.
Further details about this concept and set-up instructions in detail:

Hello Stefan
I was hoping that I could use the quantity. In Entitlement, the quantity from the sales document item can also be used.
The quantity is always 1 and the price is always zero in billing document. The item of type SBPD is only a dummy? Only SBRE products are relevant?
Best regards
Helmut
Hello Helmut,
for subscriptions, the integration to entitlement management takes also the subscription parameters as mentioned above and maps them to the quantities in the entitlements:

SBPD represents the so called product sold to the customer (= the product defined in Subscription Billing), consisting of multiple products used (= the rate plan elements, that are defined by the rate plan attached to the product from Subscription Billing).
Prices for the subscriptions in the solution order are also fetched from Subscription Billing.
Best regards
Stefan
