SLG1 Error:You do not authorization to perform task(Task name:Run admin package)

Hi,

We are on SAP BPC NW 10(CPMBPC 800,SP10);SAP_BW (730,SP10).

When I checked SLG1 logs, there are some error messages as shown below.

In fact, those DMPs are user packages and completing successfully.

(These errors happening for users).

System checks P0091(Run Admin package),P0097(Edit package schedules for any users) for each DMP execution?

Best Regards,

Manohar

Hi Manohar,

Is there any error while running the data manager  package? Is the data getting posted to the BPC cube?

Share the screenshots of the DMP error if any....

Hi JP,

Thanks a lot for the response.

As I have mentioned,DMPs are completing successfully without any issue.

Data is getting posted correctly.

I have checked SLG1 logs for my ID as well.

For each DMP execution,it is checking authorizations for System checks P0091(Run Admin package),P0097(Edit package schedules for any users).

Only concern is even it is user package, why it is checking P0091 authorization?

And for execution of DMP why it is checking P0097 authorization?

Do we need to change any settings for skipping these unnecessary checking?

Hi Manohar,

Have you checked the thread given above?. Not sure but I guess it is a default behavior of system to check for this roles....as also stated in above post! There are no settings as such to skip such checking in system! Try the solution given by Ian Mannion in the above post. May help you...

Hi JP,

Thanks a lot.I checked the thread before posting this question.

I tried the options as well.

In my case,we have same behavior for all the DMPs.

I am closing this thread, assuming this is default behavior.

Best Regards,

Manohar
