Showing only sum of a Dimension Property in a Report or Input Schedule

Hi,

I am using EPM Analysis for office vers. 2.6.

How do we display the sum by Dimension Property in a report or an Input Schedule?

I only want to show the property and one line per property "type".

An example of this could be to show “Account-Group” (Property) instead of Dimension "Account” in a report or Input Schedule.

If I use =EPMMemberProperty(…) in the cell next to Account it will show me one line per Account.I do not want that, I only want one line per Account-Group, and therfore the sum.

Is there a way to do this without creating a new hierarchy?

This is a wrong approach! Create a new hierarchy. I have written about it many times.

Hi, Thanks for your answer.

I am new to BPC, but have long worked in Bex Query designer. There this is much used and the functionality has been there from the early days. Hope this functionality will be added soon to BPC.

BPC is based on MDX and in MDX aggregation is based on hierarchy. Don't think it will be added.

P.S. We are talking about BPC standard?
