Settlement does not recognize Downpayment of the previous year

Hi Experts.

I am trying to settle a WBS element to Asset in 11.2024. The following Error is triggered:

Check amount entered (Amount is too high).

The retirement amount entered is higher than the sum of the transactions changing the acquisition value in area .Taking into account the entered asset value date and the posting period, the maximum retirement amount is .

My AUC Asset (wbs settlement rule has AUC and Asset) has a Downpayment posting in 2023 that has been cleared in 2024. Anyway the system is not considering the postings before 2024 and it allows to settle only what is posted on AUC in 2024.  I understand that is the standard SAP behavior.

Is there any valid workaround that could allow me to settle the entire amount.

In the AUC, have you enabled the negative indicator for each depreciation area?

Hi, @micheledambrosio15 I'm glad to hear the issue is solved, we get some questions like this when customers use their own custom asset class. For AUC the flag should always be set. Can you mark the answer correct. Thanks Mark
