Hello,
In subscription billing while creating a product we have to select a subscription type.(Commercial/internal billing/test/trial)
If we select subscription type trial/beta no bills and invoice documents are created. but usage data is collected that are free of charge and can be limited.
How do I set the limit for the usage?
Thanks,
Ankit

Hi Amit,
we don't support such a usage limit. Besides that, I assume that the technical system would need to set such a limit, not the billing system. I.e. the system, where the users consume the service, shoult set it.
Kind regards,
Annette

Hello Ankit,
I'm not totally clear about your scenario.
Is the service in general free of charge but its usage shall be limited?
In this case its as Annette stated. The limit needs to be handled by the technical system.
Is the service free of charge for a limited usage and all consumption above the limit shall be billed?
In this case you should use subscription type "Commercial" and look into concepts like tiered pricing or allowances. Both concepts allow the definition of limits to seperate free of charge usage from usage the consumer has to pay for.
Kind regards
Ralf
