Service Order WITH BATCH

Good morning,

Could you please help me with the following error message?

1.A Service Order was created with a material that is managed in batches.

2.The system is asking us to enter a BATCH, but we've searched the entire document and can't find a way to add it.

3.The position also does not allow us to enter the Batch.

I've searched for documentation but can't find any. Can you help me? Or should I report it to SAP support?

Hi Angel,

Currently Batch managed items are not supported for service order in Public Cloud. There is already a CIP request open Improvement Request Details - Customer Influence.

I would suggest you to go through it and Vote if you need same functionality.

Hello @AngelT 

You're getting the "Enter Lote" error because the material is batch-managed, and the system requires a batch number during service confirmation.

Next step

  • Use the “Manage Service Confirmations” app, and the batch field ("Lote") is visible there.
  • Enter the batch number manually or select it using F4.
  • If the field is still missing, use the “Post Goods Movement” app and enter the batch during the 261 movement.

Hi Chuma, Thank you very much for your comments. However, as Vikas4 mentioned, it is not currently supported for Public Clound.
