hello,
we have several BPC environments on the same BW/4HANA plaform, sharing the same Hana database. Each environment is dedicated to one subsidiary... Sometimes, one subsidiary looses its data and needs a restore...
Currently, when IT restores BPC Hana database using a backup, all BPC environments are restored to the same point in the past. This is really an issue for subsidiaries that do not need any restore to be pulled back in the past...
To restore one BPC environment only, we don't want to use UJBR transaction, as each BPC environment contains hundred millions of rows... So we are looking for a solution.
1) may be each BPC environment should have to use its own Hana tenant database, enabling the restore of each BPC environment separately ? In this case, we would probably have to setup one dedicated BW/HANA instance/server per susbsidiary... This seems quite complex...
2) Or, if some tablespace concept exists in Hana DB, can we dedicate one tablespace and one datafile per BPC environment and restore one BPC environment at a time? Not sure it is feasible...
3) or may be you see other solutions?
Your ideas are welcome!
