security on models

hi Gurus

Please can you assist I have secured models i have created teams, task profiles and data access profiles, I linked data access profiles to teams and assigned the BPFs to teams, assigned the users but 2 of the models I have secured are not showing restriction, I have secured 3 dimensions

Hello,

You have four secured dimensions, exactly which one does not seem secured and what are the circumstances? BPF does not remove data access security.  Therefore, either something in your configuration is wrong or maybe (maybe) this is code bug.

Please reduce the complexity and test one secured dimension at a time until we know what is going.  Provide details of your BPF owner and performer definitions and your test results.  Also, provide your BPC version.

Its BPC version 10 netweaver. Thank you for mentioning 4 dimension secured that is where my problem was. I am supposed to secure 3 dimensions.  I remove the one that is not supposed to be there my problem is fixed

please share screenshot of the data access profiles and the structure of the cube where you have marked the secured dimensions.

Hi,

From the structure of the model, it seems that you have made 4 dimensions as secured.

Screenshot for data access profile is not complete.

Have you provided access to at least one member for all the 4 secured dimensions of COSTING model in the data access profile?
