Saving transformation XML file failed in SAP BPC 10.1 Classic NW

Hello Experts,

While validate and process transformation file from BPC DataManager we are getting an error message like "Saving transformation XML file failed".

I saw few SCN posts for the same and then i tried below actions as per suggestions but still i am getting same error message.

1) Deleted XLS file from UJFS and then re validated.

2) Tried to save transformation file with different name.

Currently we are in SAP BW 7.5 SP05 on HANADB with BPC 10.1 classic , EPM SP28.

If anyone experienced same problem please suggest me the solution.

If you create a new transformation file (very simple), are you able to save it?

Hi Raji,

Please provide the following details:

1. Source of the transformation file- i.e. Flat file or BW infocube.

2. Transformation file details. i.e. Options, Mapping & Conversion part.

3. If the source is flat file then provide screen shot (with headings) of the same with file name.

Anyone find the solution. I am facing same kind of issue. I am loading from flat file to BPC. I am stuck here for one week. Not able to rectify it.It is generating two file in backend .xls and .Tdm. but still it is giving not able to save.

ACCOUNTGL=ZACCOUNT

*CONVERSION

ACCOUNT=C_ACCOUNT.XLS

Try to create simple transformation file with empty mapping and conversion and validate it for data export from the model. Is it OK to validate and save?

Hi Vadim,

I created and saved a transformation file with empty mapping and conversion for export transformation data.

Then i tried for validate and process but still is giving "Saving transformation XML file failed" error. Attached screenshot for the same. Thanks !
