Saving transformation xml file failed in BPC.

Hi All

I am not able to validate a transformation file in BPC (10.1). Earlier the same transformation file validated successfully but since i upgrade my windows (from windows 7 to windows 10 and MS office 10 to MS office 365) i am not able to validate the transformation file but able to load the data to BPC.

Error : Saving transformation xml file failed

The same transformation file is validating if i filter with small set of data. Example...

Filters -

Period - Dec 2019, Flow - F01 to F99 and No_Flow (with this the transformation validation failed)

Period - Dec 2019, Flow - F01 to F50 and No_Flow, Entity - 1000 (with this the transformation validation success)

Period - Dec 2019, Flow - F01 to F60 and No_Flow, Entity - 1000 (with this the transformation validation failed)

So i thought there would be some issue with flow from F51 to F60 but when i changed the filter further

Period - Dec 2019, Flow - F51 to F60 and No_Flow, Entity - 1000 (with this the transformation validation success)

Can someone please guide me how to resolve this issue, thanks

Thank you so much for your reply.

We can not see the rejection records if we will proceed it without real validation. There are couple of Dimensions that need to be update manually based on rejection members of the transformation file.

First data load to BPC shows the rejections and based on the rejections we are maintaining the members in the respective dimension and next delta is picking those rejections to BPC (this is the process we are following, so no issues to load BPC)

Just wanted to avoid the rejections while load the data and same rejections wanted to see with validation of transformation file.

If you have no issues with data load using the mentioned transformation file then you can save it without real validation. Just select option - load from text file and save without text file 🙂

As i mentioned before, there is no issue with data loads to BPC.

Issue is while we validate the transformation file and below is the validation status.

Source of Transformation file is - BI infocube.

Even I created a new transformation file, Getting the same issue.
