/SAPSLL/ADRCON Change History

Hello,

My customer wants to see changes Military/Civil Field (MCUSE) in table SAPSLL/ADRCON. I found an old OSS Note 1318206 - Change records of GTS fields in Business Partner master. However, it really and did provide me with why I cannot see change documents for the MCUSE field.

We did have a customer program to change this field and manually created change documents. However, why is this no longer being used. I checked SAP Business Partner in the IMG and did find any configuration items for change documents for this field.

Additional digging, I found table TBZ1F but entries are about change documents for address deletion. So, now the old OSS Note is starting to make sense but the instructions are outdated and I am wondering if SAP disabled this functionality.

I am on GTS 11.0 SP18 and am wondering if anyone has this functionality enabled for change documents for /SAPSLL/ADRCON?

Hello,

Well, BP change records for table /SAPSLL/ADRCON are being produced as standard. A previous custom development had me going down the wrong path. I was thinking that the development followed GTS standard for change documents for the BP.

So, my apologies to all who reviewed this posting.

Now that this mystery (of mine) is solved. Is there a standard report that can be used by the customer intuitively?

Hello All,

There is a report (without a transaction) called BUSCHDOC that can report on BP changes include (sort of) /SAPSLL/ADRCON.

What I mean by sort of, the report does not show the legal regulations whereas the Change History though BP does; and that the table /SAPSLL/ADRCON is not supported in the fields selection.

I reached out to SAP and the deficiencies are not considered as a defect. So, SAP will not resolve. Maybe through an Idea request.

Dear GTS experts,

this is very interesting topic btw, where I also came across after my client requirements to track down the changes done in Tx. BP related to TAB SAP GTS, e.g. table *ADRCON.

As already investigated by Dean and Benjamin above, no change records for SAP GTS Tab in Tx. BP can be shown in standard.

Also in several GTS 11.0 systems I work with, if user changes fields for SPL-Status or military use (I did not tested it for LoC, since not active in our system, but assume it will have the same) directly in Tx. BP, no change record is available. The current state of SP in this systems is 19 to 21 and I am wondering a bit why SAP did not deliver any correction for this issue. The only SAP-Note for this topic I could find, as also mentioned by Dean is 1318206 and this is bit old.

Anyway, we could luckily solve this problem in the following way:

1. There is some BDT settings also available for BP in GTS, which can be accessed by Tx. BUPT, see screenshot.

In the control of screen layout you will find two settings: Sections and Screens screenlayout.jpg with the settings for assignment of sections, views and screens for Tabs in Tx. BP. For Tab SAP GTS there is Screen, section and views called SLLSPL. If go down for example to sub-menu, for example Section->Views, you will see an item number, for example 100000 (as it was in our system) and View SAPSLL item-sapsll.jpg

And this is where an error stuck. As from my understanding this item number should be the same as item number in another BDT Tx. BUS7 for GTS-related events CHGD1, CHGD3, CHGD4 , pls see picture

2. Another prerequisite is a customizing of GTS logs -> Control Settings for the Generation of Change Documents. Here I had to maintain Table /SAPSLL/ADRCON where the data on tab SAP GTS comes from.

After all settings above were done, the change records for compliance area in BP could be seen, as in example below.

I hope it will help others to solve the issue if needed.

Hello Benjamin,

So, if you have entries in CDHDR for /SAPSLL/BP, the object id in the internal BP number. So, I looked for corresponding entries in CDPOS with table /SAPSLL/ADRCON and field MCUSE.

Then I went to the BP transaction with the internal BP number, then "Extras --> Changes History --> For this Partner". I saw the Military / Civilian Usage in the 'Changed Field' selection box.

If you are not see that, there maybe a configuration issue.

Correct "Extras --> Changes History --> For this Partner" shows not the change. (Name change is shown)

Table CDPOS shows the change of field MCUSE

So maybe open a SAP Message or create a query-report for the user with Object /SAPSLL/BP Table /SAPSLL/ADRCON and field MCUSE? Object value is the internal BP number.

Do you see the changes in table CDPOS?
There I could find entries, also I can't see the changes in the change history of the partner.

Yes, in CDHDR and CDPOS. Are you selecting Extras --> Changes History --> For this Partner?

I find that using the 'This Field' when the SAP GTS tab is selected doesn't work.
