SAP subscription billing: Provisioning request split in two subscription numbers.

Hi Experts,

I am new to SAP subscription billing and exploring it by doing practice and reading content at Help.sap.com.

In SAP subscription billing solution:

I created a provisioning request with two products and both products are of same type. But when I checked the subscription with respect to the provisions request, got two subscription number. My expectation was to have single subscription for two products (same as provisioning request).

I am doing this in demo system of SAP subscription billing.

Kindly suggest, how we can create subscription with multiple products.

Regards,

Praveen.

Hi Praveen,

Thank you for your question!

Indeed, the provisioning request has been made in a way that it will always create a separate subscription for each product that you enter in the request. If you want to visualise those two subscriptions together, I would advice you to assign to them the same custom reference, so that in the customer app you can find both subscriptions together by using the grouping feature and perform actions on both at the same time (like in the screenshot below).

However, if you really want to have two products in the same subscription, the way we can offer to achieve this is to use the subscription creation API (you will find more information in the documentation here and here). In this case, the system will expect that you enter one of those two products as "main product", and the second product as an "add-on". This action is not available via the UI for now.

Hope this helps! Don't hesitate to come back to us if you have more questions.

Best regards,

Hi Elodie,

Thanks for your support.

I tried with, SAP API BUSINESS HUB but getting error 403 - forbidden.

May you please share procedure how to use SAP API BUSINESS HUB.

Additionally, I am not able to open these two links, this showed me error - 403 NO right to access this page.

Please suggest if this requires special permission.

Hi Praveen.

My apologies for the links, I've corrected them in my answer so that you can access them externally. You can also find them below:

For the API Hub question, I see that you have already created another question for this matter, so I would advice that we continue our conversation there. I see one of my colleagues already picked up.

Thank you and best regards,

Élodie
