We have a scenario where we're implementing an upgrade process for a service. We want the user to have the old service expire immediately without having to wait a day for the subscription to transition from active to cancelled then cancelled to expired.
Scenario:
- User purchases subscription on April 1.
- They want to upgrade to the new service on May 5.
- Old subscription is immediately expired on the May 5 and the new upgraded service starts on the same day.
Is there a workaround to accomplish this?

Hi Curtis,
would a product change be an alternative for you? So, instead of cancelling a subscription and creating a new one, create a new snapshot in the existing subscription with the upgraded service?
Kind regards,
Annette
