Dear colleagues,

Now that we can define rate plans with different billing cycles in the same market, how do we transfer the periodicity in the rate plan simulation request?

Hi Nitish,

it is true that you can now define several rate plans under the same market. But each rate plan can have only one billing cycle. The billing cycle remains the same for the entire lifetime of the rate plan. If you need several billing cycles in the same market, then you have to define different rate plans, one for each billing cycle.

So, in the rate plan simulation request, it is not necessary to provide a billing cycle, because the billing cycle is an attribute of the rate plan itself.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Annette

In the rate plan simulation request, you can provide the periodicity by supplying the billing cycles in the "Billing Cycles" field. It is important to provide the Billing Cycle information in the same format as provided in the rate plan. Once the Billing Cycle information is provided in the rate plan simulation request, SAP Subscription Billing will correctly transfer the periodicity for the rate plan in the simulation.
