SAP Strategy Management - undefined titles on the Interface

Hi,

We have installed SAP SM10 and have configured the Juice Model as per the installation guide provided by SAP. We were able to access the URL for "Strategy Management" for the Juice database from the launch page with the PIPADMIN user id. But the page seems to have undefined titles for tabs and all other icons. None of the Tabs have titles appearing on the page. Attaching a screen shot of the page for reference.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Lavanya,

You are trying to set up the sample database for SSM 10, right? The sample database "pwsample" is carried by the import.zip file. The import.zip file could be found in the PAS installation directory. Generally the following steps need to be followed to make the pwsample work:

1. You will need to follow the installation guide to import the import.zip file through Transporter tool.

2. "pwsample" is connected to the PAS model "HFPBM". To generate the HFPBM model, please try the following PAS commands:

    job 'hfpbmmak.pro'

3. Follow the installation guide to assign users to strategy group, create SSM roles, assign necessary BUI roles and roles assigned with appropriate SSM actions to users.

4. Go to SSM Admin of pwsample, go to Manage Models page, create a model connection "HFPMB" pointed to the PAS model "HFPBM".

5. Go to SSM Admin of pwsample > Manage Context page, assign SSM roles to context "Fashions Enterprise" and "Northeast". Users assigned to these roles will have the access to these contexts.

Hi Alicia,

Thanks for the immediate response.

We have followed all these steps and were able to import the HFPBM Model.

Also, as for the undefined titles, we realized that it is because we forgot to create strategy group.

The page is working fine now.
