We would like to implement a subscription / recurring solution. There seems to be 2 solutions in SAP : BRIM and SB. What are the criterias to make a selection?
I see also that since recenty SB is integrated with CI (convergent Invoicing). What are th benefits compared to use external billing document request and SD in S/4HANA for billing?

hello Isabelle and experts
we would like to cover recurring subscription (monthly, quaterly and yearly) with pay per use and usage based possibilities. the rating model are quite simple for now, however we have offer where price varies depending on parameters which needs to be defined during quotation and configuration of offer by the customer. Configurable product would be great but those do not work with SAP SB.
we do not intend to bundle subscription with other equipment, maintenance and professional services, at least for now. but we would like to generate only one invoice for the customer (multiple subscriptions).
we need quoting capabilities and for that we are implementing SAP CPQ. therefore the chosen solution needs integration capabilities with CPQ.
no need for partner revenue share.
we would like to have strong integration with S4HANA on premise where we should have the master data (customer and subscription product), but also ideally to have the quotation and contract.
Industry is mostly equipment. But plan to sell some digital services as well.
