SAP S4 Hana system to Disclosure Management System

Hi Experts,

Can some body assist me how to connect S4 Hana system(Version 1709) to Disclosure Management from Data source, Which data source will help to connect, can some body help steps if possible.

I have performed research in SCN suggesting through BW Connector ,

But unfortunately Currently we are not using BW System, Can somebody help to connect with S4 Hana system to DM ?

If you want to connect to HANA directly:

If any required components / drivers / software cannot be downloaded (or is not available), you need to contact CIC (as there may be contractual issues as to why this is not available to you - something we cannot address on this forum)

Hello Manoj,

To use HANA as a datasource you need to install a DM HANA Client.

Please refer to KBA 2282283 for details.

Hi Marc,

Yes we have SAP_BW System Release 752, SP Level 0002, Support package SAPK-75202INSAPBW but unfortunately we have not configured any thing on BW, still are we able to use BW server ?

And to connect as datasource which URL we should use to connect ?

So, you have a BW system - why do you want to use the HANA connection?

You should connect to a BW server (use SAP BW Server connection in DM client)

DM to HANA. This may be confusing – there is “BW/4HANA” and “BW on HANA“ These are not the same, and one is supported, one is not

Chapter: “Solution” --> “4. The following add-ons are not supported”

So, you first need to find out what you are using. In NW, you can use T-code ‘spam’ to see what is installed
