Hello,

We may have the requirement to manage IFRS16 valuation postings for contracts and view the CLM standard valuation reporting for these contracts but without managing supplier payments (this is currently done elsewhere).

Is this possible using SAP CLM e.g. can we just use Statistical conditions for all supplier conditions and have valuation postings based of that ?

If this is the case then is there impact on the ifrs16 posting as normally there is credit lease clearing with the rent amount and then debit lease clearing t allocate to vendor open item - which cannot happen with a statistical condition?

"First introduction of RE-FX:

For the implementation of IFRS/US GAAP specific contract management, it is not necessary to introduce and define the entire real estate component. It is also only possible to implement contract management with its accounting integration. You can subsequently add further RE-FX functions"

Hi Tom, yes it is possible to use statistical conditions only without the vendor integration and still generate all the required IFRS16 postings. You just have to make sure that the statistical condition types are specified in the configuration for "Condition Valuation Groups" otherwise they are not taken into consideration.

Regarding the clearing account this is a technical clearing account and not a open item managed clearing account. This means if you would like to report on this account you have to make sure that your invoices that are processed elsewhere are either posted to the same clearing account or a different balance sheet offset account. These invoices should not be posted to an expense account as that would cause issues with your P&L.
