SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud – Need APIs for Automating Finance Data Uploads (No Manual Entry)

Dear SAP Experts,

We are implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud for our client, and the business has a strict requirement for automated data uploads in the Finance module — they do not accept manual entries for the scenarios listed below.

We explored available options like Migration Cockpit, SOAP/REST APIs, and standard CDS views, but we could not identify suitable APIs or methods for the following requirements.

• API endpoints (if available) to handle these operations

• Workarounds or alternative integration strategies (e.g., iRPA, SAP BTP, Integration Suite)

• Guidance on best practices for Public Cloud automation (data load without user intervention)

Any documentation, API hub links, or practical insights from similar implementations would be very helpful.

The best way to find API is from the API Hub:

ODATA V2 API | SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition | SAP Business Accelerator Hub

You can try to find in each tab.

If none exists, that means no existing API.

You need to raise feature request.
