Hi SAP Community,
We are using SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (3SL) and are trying to configure Dunning Notice emails so that email IDs are picked dynamically from BP master data, without hardcoding email addresses.
Requirement
When a dunning run is executed:
Email should be sent to the Customer BP email
Email should also be sent to all linked Contact Persons’ email IDs
Multiple Contact Persons should receive the email automatically
All email IDs must be derived only from BP master (Customer + Contact Person)
What we have already configured
Customer BP has email maintained in Address → Communication
Contact Person BPs have email maintained
Relationships maintained: Has Contact Person, Has Dunning Recipient
Application: Dunning
Determination Step: Receiver
Decision Table: DT_RECEIVER
Entry maintained:
Output Type = DUNN_NOTICE
Account Type = D (Customer) Role = D Exclusive Indicator = false
Note: We do not see CP (Contact Person) as a selectable Role in Receiver.
Determination Step: Email Recipient
Decision Table: DT_EMAIL_RECEIVER
Entries maintained:
Row 1: Output Type = DUNN_NOTICE, Email Type = TO, Email Address = Context → Customer → Email Address
Row 2: Output Type = DUNN_NOTICE, Email Type = TO Email Address = Context → Contact Person → Email Address
Issue / Clarification Required
CP (Contact Person) does not appear as a Role in Receiver determination
It is unclear whether Contact Persons are implicitly derived during Email Recipient determination
Despite maintaining BP relationships and Email Recipient context mapping, the behavior is not clearly documented
