Hi Experts,
As part of SAP transformation,I am in process of reviewing the architecture of the proposed SAP Landscape and some SAP Modules for a client.
ERP Version - S/4HANA 1809/1909
Proposed Planning and Consolidation Solution - SAP BPC Standard 11 ( and not S/4HANA Optimized for planning and RTC/Group Reporting for consolidation)
BW - BW is used as the central data warehouse/hub for all the inbound/outbound data for cloud and S/4HANA solutions.
Explanation - "The Inbound data for BPC is to be collected from various SAP Cloud and S4/HANA on premise modules. The most sensible approach is to collect all the data from various sources and make BPC consumable at the BW layer and then fed to the BPC Standard system"
Is this this best approach for BPC Solution as per the explained SAP Landscape?
Are we not compromising on the features of the latest planning(S/4HANA Optimized) and consolidation(RTC/Group Reporting).
It would be great if I can get advice if this is the best way of designing the BPC solution. If not, what would be the better way doing it.
Thanks,
