SAP Offline mode changing sheet names

We are experiencing odd behaviour when saving reports in offline mode, often sheets will be renamed (usually with what looks like a random sequence of characters) but this seems to disrupt named ranges so I think the sheets are being copied and renamed when a report is put in to offline mode. Does anyone know enough about Offline mode to say if the sheet names are affected by the process? Thanks

What does EPM Offline mode actually do?

The symptoms we have seen on various spreadsheets included renaming sheets to a series of random characters and wiping data from sections of spreadsheets (almost as if its reverting to a previous version).

SP 23 is old try more recent version.

About epm offline mode please read application help. There are 2 variants for offline mode: report only and input form.
