SAP_ISU_FI-CA Unable to assign G/L and tax code to statistical sub-transaction.

Hi Experts,

I posting LPC(late payment Charges ) main 0040 and sub transaction 0010 through T-code FPINTM1 (interest run) for this amonut tax is not applying because it is a statistical posting for this G/L and tax code is not assigned. Now i am trying to assign G/L and tax code for GST purpose but it is not accepting.

Any one can please help me on that.

They want to post to the GL through stranded T-code FPINTM1. only. I removed the Statistic indicator and posted Through T-code FPINTM1 interest run it says completed but i have seen in FPL9 the line item is not showing.

In table TE305 (customizing) our statistical indicator is not set, so we can enter the GL's in EK02.

OK - you have 2 choices - if you leave the statistical indicator on in TE305, you cannot assign a general ledger account - see the SAP Help: "

Definition: statistical line item

Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)

A document item that is not relevant to the General Ledger and is kept in the contract accounts receivable and payable as a marker.

These items do not change posting totals for reconciliation keys and therefore do not affect the transaction figures in the General Ledger. Statistical line items can be processed by the payment program and the dunning program.

Example

Down payment request, budget billing request, statistical late payment fee"

If you remove the statistical indicator, you can post to the GL. I would ask your accounting team for their requirements in this matter

If we remove statistical indicator we are unable to posting through T-code FPINTM1 for interest run.

Hi - please talk with your accountants. You cannot post to the GL if it is statistical. Do they want a posting to the GL? Then it is not statistical.

What does transaction EK02 show for main/sub on 0040/0010? They may need GL accounts there

What about the configuration for interest?

Thanks for replay. i am trained with EK02 for Interest request (Statistical) the GL not accepting below log shows.

Transact. 0040 0010 in CC 4000 div. 03 is statistical; do not specify G/L accnt

Message no. EK203

But for GST i have to assign GL and Tax code.
