Hello
Need your guidance for a scenario.
Assuming there is a Tariff code numbering scheme existing with name A. It has got corrupt now.
The requirement is to remove the existing Tariff code numbering scheme A and split it into 2 parts.
For example B and C.
Now as part of Numbering scheme configuration, it is assigned to Legal Regulation. Key combination in this config step is Legal Regulation + "Valid From" date.
Currently numbering scheme A is assigned to 3 legal regulations.
My question is how to go about for Legal regulation config settings for new schemes B and C? When I attempt to create multiple entries for B and C with same legal regulation it gives error that entries alreay exists.
Any response is greatly appreciated!

Hi Shreshtee,
Indeed, what you are describing is standard behaviour...
The only way to have 2 different numbering schemes for a given Legal Regulation would be to assign one for Import and one for Export.
But may be you could explain further why you had to split numbering scheme A into B and C... what's the reason for this decision? Maybe understanding better the situation we could guide you to a different solution for the issue...
Regards.
