SAP GRC- UAR is not working as expected- ‘Return to’ Ended with Cancelled.

Hi Experts,

Good day.!

Issue1: ‘Return to’ is not working as expected- Ended with Cancelled, manually triggered UAR not generated properly

Explanation - We have scheduled a UAR report through Background Scheduler (Recurring activity: 3 months). Recently it was executed on 01stJuly and the request sent to all the role owners.

In that, we have faced an issue with Request number#4984.

  • 1.Role owner(Muthu) received an UAR report in her work inbox to review39 Roles. (as per the ARQ workflow-approval at path Z_USER_REVIEW_QUARTE stage GRAC_UAR_REVIEWER ).
  • 2.Role Owner clicked on the UAR link from his Work inbox
  • 3.He added the comments for these 39 roles and tried to submit(to Approve) (in Tab: User Access) .
  • 4.After adding the comments, Role owner trying to click on ‘Submit(top-left)’
  • 5.But no action has happened
  • 6. So security Team re-trigger the same workflow by selecting the option ‘Retun-To’ for the same request Number 4984.

But the user didn’t receive the UAR linkin his work inbox & Path status is ‘Cancelled’ and the stage status as ‘Error’.

Our Question is:

As we had the same stages/path for 'Return To', why the path status is changed to 'Cancelled' & stage status as 'Error' while clicking on ‘Return To’?

  • Due to the above issue, we havemanually triggered(though Background Scheduler) UAR report by giving same 39 roles(Approver is same(Muthu) for 39 roles). Instead of creating 1 UAR, but it was triggered 20 reports.
  • 39 roles added

Our Question is:

As these 39 roles belong to the same owner(Muthu), may we know the reason for triggering 20 reports for the manually triggered UAR?

Could you please help us to solve this problem?

As well, if possible help us to re-generate the same 4984 to the Role owner(Muthu)?

Thanks for letting me know if you need additional information from my end.
