Hi
I am trying to upload MDUG file from our dev to QA GRC system after mass deletion of process control master data objects in the QA system. While doing the upload I get this message which ends the process:
Regulation 00000000 is not connected to any regulation configuration in IMG
I have no regulation or regulation group defined after mass removal, table HRP1000 says there is no Regulation (object type O9) in QA system left after the mass deletion. But There are still few items as regulation configuration defined in IMG (e.g. FDA, SOX etc.).
Any idea what this is and how it could be resolved?

Hi Neeraj
Sadly I cant remember how I bypassed this issue. My general advice before MDUGing the target system:
1- In SPRO: Make sure regulation configuration is created.
2- In NWBC: Regulation Group, Regulation and Regulation Requirement are created manually.
If you find a solution kindly let me know.
Thanks
Reza

Hello Reza,
That is bit tough to comment without the system details .

Hi Silky
Many thanks, do we know what object type that might be? Choosing object types O8 (Regulation / Policy Group), O9 (Regulation / Policy) and OB (Regulation / Policy Req) produce zero records in HRP1001, as they were all deleted by us during the mass clean up. There are, however, very few records left in HRP1001 for these objects:
C Job
O Organizational unit
OR Legal entity
OT Enterprise Object
P4 Business rule
RY Responsibility
S Position
TS Standard task

Hello Reza,
It seems the data has not been deleted properly.
Also for uploading the data through MDUG, regulation is required so check what regulation have you mentioned in the excel. You can check the relationship of the regulation in the HRP1001 table if there is anything left there

Hi Vinay
Thanks but unfortunately both failed after they were tried.

Hi Reza,
Try by creating the regulation manually in PC masterdata..then try to upload the mdug data...Also, try to use the mdug template downloaded from the Q system.
Thanks,
Vinay
