SAP GRC 12 - EAM Access Request Workflow additional rule

I have configured SAP_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST workflow for EAM (Firefighter). Currently all approvals go to the Firefighter owners.

I now have a requirement that if the Firefighter belongs to the Finance Department there is a Manager approval before it goes to the Firefighter owner. How is this configured? Can I use standard configuration or do I need a BRF rule? Can someone please guide me.

Hi Angela,

As i understand clearly, your requirement is that, if and only user belongs to Finance dept., then it goes to Manager>FF owner. Remaining users can be sent to FF Owner directly. To achieve this, 2 paths for EAM request type need to be configured as below via custom BRF initiator rule id.

DT to be configured with Input Condition to contain User's department/business_area/functional_area or user_group along with Request type. Business_area/functional_area or user_group are available from Request Header details. While if any other field (from SU01) is to be considered for User's department, then dblookup (from USR02/ABTLG) can be used.
