Hello EMS experts,
Our scenario is S4 subscription contract via CPI to EMS record update .
we need some inputs on the best way to handle Cancel the EMS record when CPI is sending Cancel business event and end date of contract .
In EMS, end date is updating, but status is not getting update as CAN . Is there any code to add in Rule sets . If yes, where and what to add to get desired status updates.

You could leverage Update Task of ruleset to update status of entiltement together with end date.
In basic mode, advanced mode and script task all support.
Just to find the ruleset update end date of entiltement first and update this ruleset update task.
