Hello experts.
Is there a way for making a .xml file from DM?. Not taxonomy XBRL needed, only a .xml file.
Request clarification before answering.
Hello alexander.rodriguezfortich
You will need to be a bit more specific on what you want to achieve here.
XBRL is effectively normalized XML, so the simple answer would be "yes" 🙂
You may want to check this note, as it outlines all the supported scenarios

Hello
SAP ERP would be the source system. The output format needs to be an .xml file which would be used to be sent to a legal entity.
I have seen DM working with .xml but for XBRL format, that needs a taxonomy. In the scenario needed, there is no taxonomy. Only data from ERP that needs to be output on xml format.
XML would always require some specifications (i.e. what tags to use etc.). This will be stipulated by some kind of 'regulatory body', so you would need to clarify which one this is.
There is no such thing as 'generic' XML, it always requires some kind of specifications. So, unless I know which ones you need, I cannot make any further comments on this.
